I remember a post talking about how we should not talk about or consider changing laws that restrict sex with children because this will cause the antis to say; "Ha! you see they just want to have sex with our kids!"

I was sitting here thinking as I read a post about a sitcom character who is an MAA that we need to face the fact that at the core of our MAA beliefs is the desire to be sexual with little girls. Otherwise we are just normal citizens of the world and could go on being mentors, uncles, dads, mothers and the like. There would be no need for GC if there was not a sexual desire within us. Instead of hiding who we are we need to be true to who we are because it is the truth that will set us free. The antis are not just afraid we want to have sex with their children(or our own) they just believe we will harm them and they are afraid that if we are allowed to live openly that they won't be able to protect their children because some will take advantage of kids. They don't know that we love them and emotionally, mentally, spiritually as well as sexually. We want to experience all three levels of love with little girls(phileo(friendship)eros(sexual/romantic)agape(unconditional love))

I believe instead of trying to hide or change who we are we need to understand who those people are who disagree with us and figure out what they are afraid of and help them face their fear and show them they have nothing to be afraid of. Especially, when the people who are afraid the are those who know and love us but don't know we are attracted to little girls(or boys).
