I think the last part of your statement is a little silly. It could just as easily be rephrased to read as follows:

"Sexual relationships with children are a powerful positive force for their lives. It's a logically consistent position based on stories that are out there of people whose lives have been positively impacted by such events. The fact that there are counter examples doesn't prove that it is ok - any more than the fact that some people can function effectively despite being heroin addicts proves that heroin is therefore ok."

That's the nature of relying on anecdotal evidence and the reason it is a worthless argument. One of the two statements must be wrong because they are mutually exclusive, yet they both use the very same argument. Therefore, the statements are of no value. Your argument is not logically sound.
