I simply don't agree that the core of my boylove is a desire for sex.

At the core of my boylove is the deepest desire to have a boy companion and to be a boy myself.

The sexual interest in my boylove is a subset of this companionship desire. I know that I would happily go without sexing a boy if it meant that I could enjoy his companionship... AND THIS IS IN FACT HOW I LIVE.

My companionship desire motivates me to want many things from the boys I love and to give many things to the boys I love. I want to give my life for their happiness and well being. To this end I willingly put aside my sexual desire to seek what is best for them.

Just because sexual desire is a strong subset of the companionship desire does not make it the core or primary or central part.

I love so much about boys, their personalities, their style, their playfulness, their interests... and their looks and sexualness. Sure no one looks as good to me as a beautiful boy... but nor is anyone as charming or as delightful or as intersting. When I'm with a boy I'm not centrally focused on his body or being sexually romantic with him. Sure those desires can be strong and compelling... but primarily I want to be with HIM... the glorious person that is made in God's image and brings such wonder and facination and joy to my soul.

Denying myself sex with a boy does not reduce me to the same level of a parent, mentor, teacher, friend etc... who is not a boylover... because whilst I may be some or all of those things to a boy, my love for the lad and my desire for his companionship will far exceed that which a non-boylover can experience.

I find your views indulgent and out of the spirit of the Scriptures. I struggle to agree with anything you say.
