Hi Cat,
1. God don't want me this way.... but I can't change therefore either God has rejected me or I have failed God. 2. God wants me this way (since He's not changing me) therefore it must be ok to be this way and I should embrace it, be who I am and go out and love the people I'm attracted too, including sexually. 3. God wants me this way (since He's not changing me) but He also wants me to restrain my sexual desires to within holy boundaries which means not acting out sexually with boys but being free to love them in holy ways. As I see it, there is another option: 4. God doesn't want me this way, but He loves me and delights in me despite my brokenness. He wants me to restrain my sexual desires to within holy boundaries, which means not acting out sexually with boys but being free to love them in holy ways. Just because He has chosen not to change me, does NOT mean He wants me this way; it just means He has chosen not to change me. So, I'd put myself in the 4th category. Blessings, Rainboy |
