You can't help what you want. But we try and ACT on what we believe.
If you can preserve your friendship at an appropriate place then I pray the two of you will be happy together as friends forever.

Be careful when he gets a girl friend... you may find yourself getting very jealous... best to prepare for it now so you don't act too stupid when it happens.

As for God using you for something Great.... meh.... just be glad that your saved and your name is written in heaven, that is what is important. Live your life out of gratitude for that and you will do well.
