Is God's purpose for our lives a moral purpose... or a pragmatic one?
We are created for good works (Eph 2:10)... is that in a general sense... IE: be a good man, a good husband, a good father, a good worker, a good boss, a faithful Christian etc... or is it that God has this specific vocation for you and you must somehow find out what it is and fulfill it.

I believe the former rather than the latter. I'm sure God has a specific vocation for some people and He reveals that to them quite clearly (eg: the apostle Paul). But for the majority I think our calling is to live a holy life right where God has put us. Be a blessing to others, minister with the gifts He gives us and live a quite Godly life.

Some people believe God has a specific vocation for each person... I challenge you to show that in Scripture.

Blessings
Cat.
