My wife and I are as close to separation now as we have ever been.

We have been on a yo-yo for the last few years and I want to apologise to any of you whom I've strung along with me on that journey.... Things are going good... we're separating... things are going good... we're separating.... etc.... It's like every time I turn around things change.

I've come to see it all very clearly in recent months. When my wife is not looking at the issues we get on great... but as soon as she reflects on my lack of heterosexual desire she gets hurt and loses it. Things are unable to continue like this and we both know it.

We are finally talking seriously about separation and divorce.
In the past it has just been angry outbursts of "you have to leave!" Now we are having calm discussions of how to work it out in the best interests of the children.

Thanks to all of you who have been keeping us in prayer. I continue to want to stay with my wife in what seems to be (to natural eyes) an unreconcilable situation. It's been so difficult emotionally to keep my head above water... but I lean on the Lord and He gives me strength.
