Christian BoyLove Forum #50719
Lusting after children is no different from lusting after women or after men. Lust is wrong no matter who the object of lust is. As Christian pedophiles, we are no different in that regard from Christian heterosexuals. We have to face the same lust issues everyone else faces.
As for how I can justify my lifestyle, I first have to first describe what my lifestyle is. My lifestyle is one of service to the Lord. I have dedicated my life to his service and in so doing have become an integral part of various ministries in my church. I have even started a ministry of my own which I am considering incorporating as a separate non-profit organization in the near future. I have to, out of necessity be vague when posting on a public forum like this, so I am not going to delve into the nature of the ministries I am involved in. Needless to say, I am having a positive impact in the lives of people, specially children. As a leader, I am a general in God's army. How can I justify this lifestyle? The entire New Testament justifies it. Yes, I face lust issues. Lust issues are nothing unusual. They are, in fact, so common, that a best selling book on the issue is entitled "Every Man's Battle". I am not perfect and haven't claimed to be. But my lifestyle is one of obedience and service. God does not only justify this lifestyle, he demands that everyone live this way. One of the great things about our God is that he doesn't ask us to change before we come to him. He asks us to come to him so he can change us. He also doesn't ask us to wait until we are changed before we can be used to serve him. If God chooses to change me some day, he is free to do so, he knows I'm open to that possibility. But I do not believe God wants me to sit around doing nothing while I wait for him to change me. |
