You have an interesting take om spiritual matters. It seems very similar to what clolibre was saying. You should have jumped in the conversation. I think he began feeling a bit picked on although that wasn't intentional.
We appear to be having a lot more "liberal" viewpoints here lately. It surprises me that there are Christians who want to basically thow out the Bible and do whatever THEY (in all their wisdom) feel is right before God. Strange how all those things that they think the Bible doesn't apply to are things that give them physical and emotional pleasure. I'm not going to look up all the scripture that applies in man/boy sexual relationships. I'm sure you already know them, just don't want to give them any credence. But I would like to ask you how you came up with your theology of whatever "I" think is ok must be ok? It sounds very similar to the hippy philosophy back in the 60's. If it feels good, do it. With a few selected scripture verses thown in out of context to assuage any possible guilt. I'm not trying to be a smart ass (well, maybe a little), but I'm honestly curious as to where this theology comes from. Your relationship with God is between you and Him. But I wonder what kind of Faith can endure if everyone does whatever HE thinks is right, regardless of what the Bible says. Dakota |
