I cannot disagree with any of the moral teachings of mother church for obvious reasons. All I can do is point back to the gospel and hope that in this morally perfect edifice that the new church (and the present one) was (is) trying to create there is still room for those of us who fall short. those of us who fail morally. When I read Paul I often lose hope. When I read the gospel, though I find myself challenged and unsettled time and time again, there is always hope too.
