Let me repeat myself just to be clear: DO NOT OUT YOURSELF!!!

Cat's mostly good experience with being out is not common. Unless you are living outside the Western/Anglocized/ whatever you want to call it parts of the world (USA, Canada, most of Europe, Australia, some other places) DO NOT OUT YOURSELF!!! . If you live outside this area than it may be a better idea but it's still not something I'd recommend.

I know people, know of people, or have seen news stories/articles about pedophiles who have outed themselves and the trouble they get in. They have been harassed, physically assaulted, stalked, fired from their job, been accused of a crime, constantly held in suspicion. Oh yea the SOR in the US is being used by some vigilantes as a way to find people to harass or murder. Yes murder it has happened and unfortunately will happen. These are people not on a SOR and out to everyone.

I'd be happy to quibble about the details but like yes I think you should out yourself to your wife before you marry her if that is something you decide to do. Mostly my first advice on this topic is: DO NOT OUT YOURSELF!!!
