The survey IS unscientific. No doubt about it! :-)

How about we just let everyone post what they want -- if they know of others, they can feel free to post that, too. But, when it comes to counting the results -- which I can certainly do in a week or two -- I'll make two separate counts: one for CBLF responses only, and one that includes the other random inclusions, too.

Godspell, as to your point about not revealing personal information of others without permission, I figured people would just make their own best judgment on that. Obviously we don't want anyone to reveal personal information about someone that has not already been made public on another forum. But, if "BoyFan123" on BoyChat says, "I am a BL and I was sexually abused as a child", that's public information, and can reasonably be referenced here (IMO)?

If we know of someone who has NOT made such info public, unless we have permission from them to post it, it should either not be posted, or just be referenced in generic terms: "I have a friend who is A/B".

Blackstone, as to skewing the results: I think, as long as we only post results where we KNOW that a BL has or has not had a sexual experience with an adult (as a child), the results shouldn't be too badly skewed. [We "KNOW" because they have told us personally, or said so on a public forum.] I don't think we should "default" everyone to an "A" just because we don't know one way or the other.

I certainly could be making too big a deal of this -- it has been known to happen. Either way, post what you like and I'll try to make sense of it at the end. I WILL keep CBLF-only results separate to ensure scientific accuracy :-)
