Ah yes, one of the all-time favorites for BL's...ET: The Extra-Terrestrial. Possibly Spielberg's finest movie, certainly one of my all-time favorites. It launched the acting careers of Henry Thomas (ET's "YF", Elliott) (and yes he WAS hot!) (and VERY cute!), Robert MacNaughton (Elliott's older brother, Michael...he played the role brilliantly), and the very young and cute as a button, Drew Barrymore (Elliott's younger sister). It won 4 Oscar awards, 38 assorted other awards, and 27 other award nominations.

Believe it or not, I kind of did the same thing you did with that movie. When I saw it in the theater in the summer of '82, I had to sit there durring the credits just to compose myself enough to be able to walk out into the lobby. That movie helped me to realize that my attraction to boys was much more than just something sexual. It was also about some very deep feelings of love. It was still a confusing time for me but at least I was beginning to work things out.
