We've all been in the closet for most of our lives, right? Ha! No but the friendship between Elliott and ET is the thing that touches me the most. Elliot really does become ET's "YF", if you will. Although when I saw the film for the first time back in 82, I would not have used those words. I had no words for that kind of thing at that time.
