The problem with the position that one should perfectly follow everything the Bible says is that it is nearly impossible. I doubt you would even try it when it came to some of the old testament punishments. Jesus made those not necessary? How about Paul saying women should cover their heads? Should one country not go to war when attacked (turn the other cheek)?

I think everyone picks and chooses what they want from the Bible regardless of whether or not they admit that.
