I feel like I'm taking a test. I hope I pass.
do you think it's possible for someone who had homosexual feelings then they were young to not hold onto those same feelings for younger people as they grow older? Possibly. I can see where one's attractions might get "stuck" in a particular generation so that the attractions don't age with the individual. But from what I have read and heard from gays and pedophiles, the gay feelings amd experiences as a child seem to be different from the pedophile feelings and experiences as a child. didn't you hold onto your attraction for boys as you got older? yes you say you are a heterosexual boylover but when you were younger, did you "love" boys? I loved a few boys, not every boy I saw. I make the distinction because purely gay boys weren't attracted to girls their own age, whereas I was. I don't say I'm a "heterosexual" boylover because I have some problem with calling myself gay or bi. In fact, for many years I thought of myself as bi, because thinking of myself as a pedophile "monster" was just unacceptable. when did you switch from being a young "homosexual" to being an adult "boylover"? was it at a certain age? or was it when you found "women" not girls attractive? I don't have any specific age where this monumental "switch" happened. In fact, nothing happened other than my attraction to females aged as I aged, but my attraction to boys stayed the same relative age. i think this was a valid point mason made I think he made some valid points. My main contention that differs is that being a boylover is some kind of offshoot of being gay. While there are surely some gay tendancies at work in being a boylover, to think of pedophilia as being directly related to homosexuality is to consider every gay man a potential pedophile. And I don't think that is true, any more than every hetero man being a potential girllover. Dakota |
