No idea whatsoever. In the past, I would spend much time contemplating this question. I never came up with anything more than theories that had as much chance of being true as throwing a dart at a dartboard blindfolded has of landing on the right reason. It would be nice if they would do some decent research on the topic, but since the only pedos they have to study are convicted child molesters, that is like studying male sexuality using only convicted rapists as subjects. I've come to the conclusion I will never know the why till I get to heaven.
