Isn't it all just the same fixation of thought patterns?
I'm of the opinion you can cut a thought off at the root, and overtime modify patterns. And this is what everybody does, everybody has the potential to be gay or pedophile, or hetero. Furthermore, everybody has the potential to rearrange their own sense of gender identity.
Even in the exact same manner an elderly person may be able to keep the mind of a child, or childlike qualities, genderlessness, asexuality.
Doesn't Jesus instruct us to do this?
