Our true identity is in Jesus Christ. No part of who we are is inherently sinful or whatever. There are sinful things that make us happy for a season, but it isn't real happiness. Being a boylover means loving boys. Love is not wrong, and it's not sinful - it's the polar opposite, in fact. Raw sexual desire coming out as pure lust is sinful, because it isn't real love. It's incomplete. But I think I can make a pretty confident guess that no Christian on this forum really wants to let raw sexual desire run their lives. All of our motives flow from a very real love that God has blessed us with, and it is part of who we are (eternally, I believe).

I also agree with Kristofor that we shouldn't fixate an "identity" onto ourselves, because it limits who we really are. We are eternal beings shining with the light of Christ. Meditate on that as who you are :)
