My main point was that I believe some blers are so adamant about sex with kids being beneficial to them is because they themselves want it so badly.

We are in complete agreement on this. The absurd logic some paedophiles use in order to justify their decision to have sex with children would be laughable if it weren't disturbing. There seems to be less of that on this forum, which is why I prefer this place to others, despite anti-religious sentiments.

Right or wrong, society is what it is and shows no signs of changing anytime soon. So if the sex doesn't harm kids, society's reaction to it surely will.

Which is why I have no intention of having sex with children. While there exists much anecdotal evidence to suggest intergenerational sex is in many cases unharmful, we cannot predict the consequences with any degree of accuracy. Entering into a sexual relationship with a child, then, involves a gamble with their wellbeing. It is to my mind an immoral choice to take such risks, regardless of what the outcome happens to be.
