No, I am not!

I merely related that testimony to explain why THIS forum was a personal challenge for me, not to make any comment about anyone on this forum.

I really don't want to get a debate about the effects of sin, and generational curses etc.

What induced me to respond to this forum was two-fold

One I really felt that for me personally it was a test of do I walk the walk of what I believe regarding love and tolerance or do I just talk the talk the talk.

Two several of the prayer requests expressed such deep and hurt and pain of struggling to resolve inner conflicts, of rejection, of how to get help and understanding and I can relate to that.

In fact I think it is one the saddest indictments of the Church how it treats people with 'unacceptable' problems.

How can you receive help for whatever is bothering you if you KNOW that you will be rejected before you even open your mouth?

How many people are sitting in Churches all across the World hurting, needing help but are too terrified to even ask because of the intolerance and judgemental attitudes of Christians.

Certainly that is also a generalization but really if we have to go and try to make a list ....

ok including the Christians who are openly intolerant, and including the Christians who are only intolerant about some things, but excluding those who are not intolerant about this thing and excluding the Christians who are not intolerant at all....

Then quite honestly the discussion becomes ridiculous!

If you are not one of the people who are struggling, who needed here that some out there doesn't judge you, or not one of those who are hurting because of rejection ... then ignore what I said.
