Congrats on the anniversary. My advice would be to not try anything sexual. If being against God's will isn't enough deterent for you, consider that if he wanted a sexual relationship, he would have given you signals by now. So trying something sexual might end the relationship. I don't think thoughts themselves are bad, but thoughts can lead to bad consequences when acted upon. A loving relationship does not need to include sex.

If you find another YF, I don't think that would be a problem unless you devote all your time to your new YF to the point of ignoring your old YF. It's not wrong to have more than one friend unless you cross over into the romantic.
