I would class the pedophiles involved in these stories as 'persuasive' in one case and as 'aggressive' in the others.

I don't think anyone has any doubt that aggressives are a pestilence, but there are a lot of people, at least on the other boards, who will speak up on behalf of persuasives. I think stories like the Alastair Rolfe story illustrate how very wrong they are. Persuasion is a serious breach of ethics no matter what you feel about whether sex with boys can ever be right. Boys are far too likely to agree to something against their own will and judgment just out of respect and eagerness to please.
