I don't need to find BL relationships in the bible to feel ok about my own BL relatons.

I know the love I feel for my yfs is sincere and genuine and quite biblical.

I do however take great inspiration from David and Jonathan as an example of passionate same sex love. I have no reason from the biblical text to say that there was anything sexual between them... certainly there is no statement or suggestion of it directly. However, when David is mourning the passing of Jonathan he declairs that his love for his friend surpassed his love for women. The thing that moves me is not the idea that David might have been a homosexual... it's that he may have been a heterosexual capable of a deep passionate non-sexual same gender love. For me this gives so much substance to the love side of our orientaiton.

I'm sure that those here who believe that same-sex loving can include sex and still be holy will not be impressed by this point.... since, in such a framework, such a thing would be self-evident... but for me this is huge and very liberating.
