How does one get David and Daniel mixed up? David isn't a minor character in the bible, he's a major one, you should be familiar with his life if you are at all familiar with the bible.

Jesus did no such thing. In fact, you have the story completely backwards. No one considered helping an animal out of a ditch work and Jesus used that fact to illustrate why it was not sinful for him to be healing people in the Sabbath.
