The scripture references to the curtain being torn are: Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45. A reference to the curtain itself is in Exodus 26:31-37.

Jesus taught thruout his ministry who he was and what his purpose was. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all carry his teachings. The scriptures at the very end highlight that Jesus must ascend (rise to heaven) so the Holy Spirit can indwell the believers. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I really have to go.
