I agree that "boylover" is best to be used only amongst other blers. I came out to a friend of mine some time ago, he definitely didn't care for the boylover label. It does sound sleazy to the unitiated. I've never been against the term pedophile, since it is generaly accurately defined in dictionaries, even if some people use the term interchangingly with molester. Minor attracted adult sounds a bit like word play, but is also accurate.
