I too thought it was quite interesting to sit in a room with others who had problems with sexual differences, and to participate in discussions with them. However, more often than not, the people who ran the program used everything we said as leverage against us. So really you had to watch what you said very carefully and did not feel very free to be open or candid. Thier only agenda, I believe, was to instill fear and by doing that, to hopefully controle our actions. But then, while they were engaged in all of that, they would strongly deny that this is what they were doing if someone had the guts to bring it up. Like I said, just like Big Brother.
