I understand your argument but the point is that we should have the freedom to choose. Making things illegal only takes away the freedom to choose by virtue of someone guaranteeing to throw us in a cell for choosing what we believe. Whether children having sex with adults are harmful is only for the people involved to decide not you or any government. I will raise my kids to be open to sex with anyone and teach them the good and the bad and let them know that there are consequences but that they must learn to live their lives according to their faith because one day I won't be there to raise them(Read Conversations with God Book 1 he explains better).

Who is to say that kids don't want to have sex with adults? Have you been watching the news lately? The cases dealing with teachers weren't done by force. Some parents raise their kids that way and to protect them keep it private. It's noones responsiblity to tell me how to raise a child me and a woman bring into this world when they had nothing to do with the process nor will they sacrifice anything to raise, protect and nurture the child to become an individual(unless they have no other choice).

We spend to much time and money in this world regulating peoples lives we don't agree with and all we do is make things worse(i.e. War on Drugs in the US).
