Jesus says quite simply: watch and pray. through prayer [and careful reading too], God helps us discern what is true and what is false in our own being; [that which leads us towards Him and that which leads us away.] you can always be certain of one thing: there is no sitting still on the path. if you are not moving towards God then you will be moving away.
