When I think of Our World, and it's history, I think of it as some-what
man made. And if it is indeed so; How can we be in it, but not of it as we are told at John,17:14-19?

I feel I kinda know part of it, but there is this feeling that God sees in us what He said at Gen.6:5 and Gen.8:21 that our thouhts are evil from the
time we are young.

We are even told to deaden or put to death what is earthly in us: passion,
fornication, impurity, covetousness, evil desire, which is idolatry. For on account of these, the wrath of God is comming. Co.3:5-10

For the most part, my world is in my mind and heart, as I think on the things I feed on: Such as what I read, see, and look into: Like this feeling of Boy Love, and that of sex and passion and strong desire and how
and why I must deal with these.

My question to you is; am I seeing rightly on what the Bible is saying?
And if so; How do we deaden such idolatry?
