Hi Sushil, If you don't mind me asking, why did you and your friend feel it was necessary to destroy your hard drives? Wouldn't partitioning and reformatting them have be sufficient? [Alternatively, some software to "securely" wipe drive free space (by overwriting it multiple times with various random patterns), might have done the job.] Maybe I'm naive about what can be determined from a scan, but I would have thought a format (or similar technique) would have been sufficient. Anyway, just wondering. Sorry you ended up having to deal with this situation, and -- of course -- I'm particularly sad for the boy in question. Blessings, Rainboy |
