My tendency would just be to act normally and let the whole thing wither for lack of sustenance. You could try changing your pew to minimize the chance of looks that would excite this paranoid reaction.

On a broader scale, you could take action against the sex offender registry (there are groups dedicated to that) or you could, if it is not forbidden to you, emigrate.

I did the emigration thing (though not for reasons related to sex or justice) and it's rather fun. There is no BL paradise on earth but you can do a lot better than the USA, assuming that's where you are.
