In this one we learn about a tribe where young men have sex with young boys until they reach a certain age. Sexual attraction and bonds do develop in these relationships and there are boys (and men) who are more favored than others. After the time for such things has gone and it is time to settle with a woman, the men of this tribe revert back to their primary sexual attraction; women. The book is great because not only do we get to read about the people still in the tribe, but we also get accounts from tribe members who have moved to the "more civilized" city and speak of their experience in the tribes.

So, we can play the dueling studies game if you'd like. But ultimately, what it boils down to is that there isn't a consensus. This is an open question.
