Great point! I never really thought of it like that, and I must have missed it in your previous post.

If society focused more on telling pedophiles that their desires must be resisted for the good of the child instead of just calling us all sick bastards, it would go a long way towards keeping kids safer

Another great point. I am much in aggreance with the whole "society needs a major over haul" thing. But how does that happen? I was thinking what might have made the pedophilia of ancient Rome now bad, but I really can't think of a reason. What creates such a massive social change? ... Or, you could hope of the boat with me, Blackstone and CSL to find some unclaimed territory and create our own country with actually "good" rules :D

I definitely think that that is the burden that all BLers are faced with. But from what I gathered you don't engage in it "because of moral and legal reasons" . I also believe that you, and many other BLers don't engage in such actions because (uncounsiously or not) you/they know that because of the screwed up world we live in today it will also end up hurting the boy in some way (even if its just the "once he's an adult what's he going to think of me?"). But thats just me generalizing what I think to others, which could be completely off. But if it is true, then at least a part of what I said was right. He may now knowingly be "hurting" the kid, but somewhere deep down he knows that this isn't going to end up jiving with the rest of his life in this current society.

But enough of my generalizations :P thanks for reading that and clearing some things up with me. Lol, well, I think you and blackstone should become lawyers or justice advisers or something - definitely got some good ideas! I really enjoys talking. Maybe another time ... :D
