Hi Cat,

But what I keep telling myself is "Is it any more difficult than some other lives that people must live?" I get a magazene published by a great organization called "Voice of the Martyrs". It is always filled with stories about Christians around the world who must suffer because of thier faith. It might sound like a real downer, but it really isn't. It lifts me up because it makes me realise that although the life that I have to live is hard, there are others who are suffering even worse hardships for Christ. It makes me grateful for that which I do have.

Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world". I know I probably didn't quote that correctly, word for word, because I don't have my Bible. I don't even remember exactly where it is. But I keep that scripture in mind because it gives me hope. He HAS overcome this fallen world, and as his people we are entitled to that victory as well. We can claim it even though we don't see it right away. We may not see it at all in this life. Like those Christians who are persecuted for thier faith in other countries like Russia or the middle east. I beleive God will set all things right in the end.

We DO have one another to give us hope and strength to endure in this life, Brother. And THAT is something to be of good cheer about too. God Bless my friend!
