“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me because of their testimony. My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as you and I are one, Father-that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me.” John 17: 20-21


Do you feel alone in the world? My question is more for the "silent" readers here at the Forum, who come in and read but do not post. However, it can be for anyone. Do you feel all alone? Do you feel like there is no one who can ever REALLY know what you have been through or how you feel? "Well, maybe God know's how I feel, but I can't see how anyone else can." Maybe you have said this to yourself a thousand times...or maybe a thousand times a thousand. Here is a special message for you, my "silent" brothers...

Just as Jesus was one with God, he also prayed that his disciples would be one with God the father. But then he also went on to pray for all those who would come to believe in Him after his disciples, and because of his disciples. That means all of us, as well as anyone who is out there reading silently. Here is what else it means: we are ALL brothers in Christ. Jesus prayed that we would ALL be one in the Father...and as one with each other. I am sure he meant it that way. If you are a Boylover and you know Christ, then you are one of us, regardless of how you might feel. You have no reason to ever feel all alone again. While it is certainly fine to keep on reading only...you don't HAVE to post and are certainly always welcome here...you are always welcome to make your presence known whenever you like. Please know that you will be welcomed in here with many open hearts. We do understand how you feel because we have all been there at some point in time. But together we are a brotherhood of believers who are walking the sometimes frightening, sometimes thrilling, certainly always interesting, road of our lives together.

We aren't perfect but we are indeed, just as Jesus asked the Father, one in Him.

Prayer:
Oh thank you Lord for bringing us all together from so many corners of the world. This Forum is a gift from you and may we always think of it as such and be grateful. We pray for those who come in here and read but do not post, that they will know that they are welcome and that we are all here for them. May they find your love here in this place some day, and may they also find that they are not alone in the world; just as we have all come to know in time. And may we ALL be one in You. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!
