"26From one man he [God] made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being."
Acts 17.

This is an excerpt from one of Paul's preachings to the Atheneans.
I find it very encouraging.
As a boylover I absolutely wish I could just spend all my time with my yf... but it simply cannot be. It's easy to get swept away in the hurt of short visits and lost oppertunities and the ever present fleetingness of his boyhood.
Then I come to this passage.
God determined the time set out for me and the exact place where I should live.
In the light of that, I find it reasonable to believe that the other people in my life are also living just when and where God panted them. In this respect, every oppertunity I have with my yf is a gift from the Father, and one to be recieved with grattitude.
Also in it's proper place this relationship with my yf, like all others, is purposed such that I might seek God, reach out and find Him. It's so much bigger than any BL gratification I get out of it. SO MUCH.

Prayer
Father, thank you for the people You have placed in my life and for the boundaries You have placed around us all with those people. Help us to remember, in times of frustration, that You have all things under control and just where you want them. Help us to see Your purpose in our lives such that we seek You gratefully and walk with You. Bless our relationships with our yfs and help us to be content with any limitations that will undoubtedly exisit therein. I ask this in Jesus name.
Amen.
