Devotional # 14 Wisdom

Proverbs 12:15; A fool thinks he needs no advice, but a wise man listens to others.

Proverbs 12:26; The good man asks advice from his friends; the wicked plunge ahead and fall.

Proverbs 13:3; Self control means controlling the tong a quick retort can ruin everything.

Proverbs 13:10; Pride leads to arguments; be humble, take advice and become wise.

Proverbs 13:14; The advice of a wise man refreshes like water from the mountain spring those accepting it become aware of the pitfalls ahead.

Proverbs 13:20 Be with wise men and become wise. Be with evil men and become evil.

This is actually a follow up from the last Devotional and replies. I came to this site from one that was filled with ungodliness pride and no respect for others. I have been here for awhile now and have found a group of people that follow the word of God and apply the scripture above in their posts and replies. The example set by the members here is just outstanding. The Lord gives us the advice we need in order to relate to each other in a positive way. And by following this advice we are truly setting an example for others throughout the world as this is a public domain for all to see. So in our writings let the love shown here for one another shine so that it shows that the love of Jesus Christ is in this place. Our wisdom comes from our Lord and Savior and we should not be wise in our own eyes. So as we share, give advice, ask each other for prayer and advice or just debate a subject. Let us seek the Lords wisdom knowledge and love.

Prayer,

Heavenly Father, I ask that you would help us to seek You for the answers that we need by reading Your Word and through prayer to find the wisdom we need to help others. And that we would apply it in our own lives so that we can use in in every relationship we have. Thank You for this site and for each and every member here. And I pray that You would bring us many more. In Jesus Name I pray AMEN.
