Since I am in Christ, by the Grace of God I have been justified, completely forgiven and made righteous. (Rom. 5:1)

I am free forever from condemnation. (Rom. 8:1)

I have been rescued from the domain of Satan’s rule and transferred to the Kingdom of Christ. (Col. 1:13)

I know that in my own life as a BL that between Satan using his lies and the battle with my own flesh, hopelessness can set in. Than you have the world which says that there is no hope for any pedophile, and the Church says we are all going too hell.

It’s a good thing the only thing that matters for our eternal life as well as the life that we have here is what God has to say. Because I am in Christ His Word and promises apply to me (not to just those that somehow think their sin is not as bad mine). So because Christ has set me free I want to live a life that is pleasing to Him.

I went to my sisters’ house for dinner and we ended up talking about religion at which point she said all homosexuals are going to hell. Now my sister is a Christian and she also knows that I am a BL and have same sex attractions. This took me back a bit, but to keep the peace I kept my mouth shut. The irony of it is that she has 5 kids from three different men and cheated on her first and second husbands. In other words she is an adulterer. So when I got home my wife who had also kept her mouth shut starts blasting my sister and quotes the following Scripture which actually points out hope not condemnation.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (New International Version)
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

It petty much lists everyone but then comes verse 11 which applies to everyone. I am not trying to put my sister down just using her as an example about how the church and the world has been brainwashed about us. I am so glad that we have a place like this to share our struggles help each other with advice are able to be open about who we are without condemnation and pray for each other. Not to forget making new friends.

Thank you Lord God for your word and what you have done for us. Thank you for the technology that enables people like us from all over the world to come together in your Sons name. For support and friendships that make life for us as Christian BLs a little easier and a little less lonely. IN JESUS NAME AMEN.
