Dear Lord,

I pray that you manifest yourself to d in a powerful way -- show him that there is nothing greater than you and your Truth. You are the Way. Any other way is worthless, comes to nothing, is a vapor, and lasts for a nanosecond compared to the eternity we can have with you if we keep our focus on you. You tell us in your Word that if we search for you with our whole heart, then you will be found by us. That is my prayer for d, as it is also the continual prayer for my own heart. Make us strong to keep on keeping on. Give us the desire to desire you. All else is nothing. Only you, Lord Jesus!! Everything for YOU. Eternity begins now. Help us live for eternity today -- to live a pure holy spiritual life. We can't expect you to change us the minute we are saved and repentant, or the minute we die and are in heaven with you. Our growth starts today. Guide us into a life of holiness and integrity. We can live for eternity today. Show us how and give us the wisdom to do so now. This world offers us junk, but you offer us riches untold. This world offers us hate and selfishness, but you offer us true unconditional love. Reveal that to us. Give us that taste of heaven so that we desire it even more! Keep us close to you so that we never turn dry and fallow. Give us the desire to desire you, to seek you, and to follow you. May "d" never stray too far from you without being reminded of the love and glorious plans you have for his life.
