Hello again Chris.

Just got home a little bit ago. They live in a town about 12 miles from me. Usually I go visit them on the weekend, so they were all surprised and glad to see me after they come home from school.

They have taken in a foster child, a boy of 7 years, he has really taken to me like a duck in water. He is their bonus kid, my daughter in law hates the word 'foster child' I really like the little guy and feel sad for him because he has to be split up from his brother who is 9 and little sister who I found out turned 5 today.

I pray for the three of them every day. Their lives have been in limbo for two and a half years now. There is no way they should be put back with the mom and dad and there is a family that wants to adopt all 3 of them, but the system is slow moving and their lives are impacted by the whole situation. It's a mess.

Anyways my little bonus child loves to sit in my lap and have me rub/scratch his back while he plays his Nintendo DS. I have to be careful that my other 3 don't get jealous that I'm giving him to much attention. LOL! I love all of them, but the little guy holds a special place in my heart because of all the trials he is going through in his young life.

The family that wants to adopt the 3 lives in the same town as my Son, so if this does happen, I will still be able to see all of them. Maybe you can keep this in your prayers and I will do likewise for you. It's really awesome the way God works and I have certainly been blessed in the past 20 years.
