You said that "now God is putting my willpower to the test." Remember, we have NO power in and of ourselves, but only through what's available to us in and through Jesus. God does not test our willpower. He tests our faith. Will you allow Him to make your life's choices for you? Will you allow Him to live through you? Will you give all your wants and desires over entirely to Him alone for the best interest of His Kingdom and His plans and purposes for your life and those you meet? Remember, the only real "meaningful and beneficial relationships" you create will be those that bring glory to God and Him alone. Help lead others to a saving-relationship with Him. Keep in mind, it's not about you. And if you're not quite sure how to act in a certain situation, go to God's Word, and use it as a measure. Stay in prayer. Stay in the Word. And seek God all/ways.
