I think what it boils down to is that we have a different level of trust in God.

I trust that if someone seeks out God, he will answer. Furthermore, I trust that someone who establishes a relationship with God and who has the holy spirit come dwell inside of them can't help but be driven by the being he has accepted as Lord.
