I went with my YF to a hobby shop intent on buying a RC airplane. The guy informed us we should try a trainer first (a computer game version you control with the real controller you would use with the plane). After crashing it a few dozen times, we both agreed we shouldn't buy it.

Maybe a helicopter is easier cus you don't need great speed to keep it flying.
