Christian BoyLove Forum #64678
Are you reading the book with us or are you answering these questions on the fly?
The chapter of the book this question comes from talks about how our life on earth is only temporary and asks us to consider the fact that one day it will come to an end and there will be something significant that follows that end. As to any "flaws in your religious beliefs", it's with a view to developing the religious beliefs of interested members of this forum that we are doing this study, so I'm encouraged to see you wondering about the answers. The fact that you will die is a reality we all know. But like... if you knew that you were going to lose your job tomorrow, wouldn't you want to know what was going to happen after that?... how you were going to make a living? If you knew you were going to be evicted from your house tomorrow, wouldn't you want to know where you were going to live then? Similarly, one day you'll finish up your time here on earth... I recommend to you that having a good idea of what you are going to be doing after that point is a fairly important matter. I believe that it's possible to know what your eternal future is going to be like (certainly enough to plan for it) and that the information that can be gained on this subject is to be found in the Bible.
