The theoretical nature of this question is the reason I can answer it, since I believe most of us know what SHOULD be done, but putting it into practice is quite another story.

Personally, I struggle with a variety of things, that I need to quit focusing on. First and foremost is the fact that I DO search for that gratification, for needs/longings that sometimes aren't in accordance with religious morals/ethics.
