Here is my own answer to this question:

I guess I've been a Christian for most of my life... so I have known Jesus since I was quite young. I see him as the cause of every significant thing in my life.

I know him as someone who above all else brings me into relationship with Father God. I have such a strong sense the God is my daddy and Jesus (through His sacrifice and forgiveness) is the one whom I see making that possible for me.

This is a starting point in my life.

Everything else I value builds on that relationship.

I definitely see my identity and purpose coming from my relationship with Jesus.
