I wouldn't count on the ghostery add-on to provide me with any sort of meaningful anonymity. The bottom line is that when you request the page your ip address is sent with that request. Whether or not you chose to run whatever scripts you received the fact remains you sent the ip address with your request and it is now logged by their servers.
If you are concerned about them having your ip address, you really should use some kind of proxy.
