it involves having to 'forget to say certain facts' to someone in power in order to help the person interested, who IS innocent. My pastor is the one who suggested it: "if they don't ask don't say anything".

problem is, I'm the worst liar in the universe (meaning I can't do it without giving it away) and it just feels all wrong on a gut level and based on my understanding of what God expects from us, even if I know it's what I 'should' do to make things right.
